Congratulations to women doctors on their holiday!

February 3 marks a holiday established in 2016 - World Women's Day. On this date, in 1821, Elizabeth Blackwell was born. She was the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States.

Historical circumstances have contributed to the fact that male doctors have long outnumbered female doctors. Women who tried to achieve success in medicine were not taken seriously for a long time. However, women doctors not only successfully complete their education and practice in their chosen field, but also often have better communication skills, which are very important when working with patients.
