Blood transfusion for animals has been introduced in Animal Clinic branches

Dear friends, the following procedure is now available at Animal Clinic branches for dogs and cats in need of blood transfusion. Hemotransfusion (the scientific name of the process) helps to save the lives of animals suffering from anemia, infectious diseases; those that have lost a lot of blood due to injury or during surgery.

In the latter case, it is possible to transfer the patient's own lost blood. In other cases, we administer pre-prepared blood or its components previously taken from a donor.
